Zagyuri Primary School is located in a suburb of Tamale called Zagyuri. This school has been deprived of adequate and conducive classrooms needed for quality academic work. The existing school blocks are in a very deplorable state that needs urgent attention especially this raining season. The school also has an abandoned uncompleted three (3) – unit classroom block that needs the attention of all stake holders.
The multiple awards winner Geoffrey Buta was touched with the plight of the pupils of Zagyuri Primary School and their teachers and has since devised strategies to raise funds to assist in making the school a safe environment for teaching and learning.
