Barcamp Tamale: Youth Empowerment through Innovation

Barcamp Tamale is an annual event which normally takes place between July and August. It is an avenue for young men and women to meet and share ideas of social concern. Issues relating to economic, political as well as socio-cultural issues specifically in the Northern Region are discussed.

Barcamp Tamale is a networking organization which has been organizing events for the past 10 years. This event is organized by the GhanaThink Foundation, which is made up of young professionals who are looking to bring other young people together to discuss social issues, network and even become partners . The theme for this year’s Barcamp Tamale is “Empowering the Youth through Innovation and Professionalism.”

Everyone is eligible to be part of this event. Come, learn and network with the best innovators and entrepreneurs from the Northern Region. Speakers for this event include Peter Kwarteng (Pharmacist/ Medical Doctor), Alima Bawah (TV Presenter), Alhassan Ibrahim (Radio Tamale) and many others.

This year’s event is happening live at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday 29th July 2017 .
