The most critical issue that kills the talent of most musicians in our society is funding. It frustrates and shatters the dreams of many upcoming musicians. Abdallah Yassir who goes by the stage name, Vizion like many artistes has encountered funding challenges but is of the firm belief that it can never kill his dreams of exploding in the Ghanaian music industry.
Abdallah Yassir popularly known as Vizion is a young musician who hit the limelight not long ago. While still in school working on his first degree, Vizion still found time to drop singles to keep his talent alive. The origin of his name, Vizion, comes from the attitude of determination and focus that characterize his personality. Since childhood, he has been motivated by the big names on the music scene like Sheriff Ghale, Abu Sadik, Abada among others.
Number 1 is the title of his single which was released on 22nd July, 2017. The song demonstrates his maturity as a musician. Inspiration for Number 1 comes from what happens in his life. The song was produced by Stone Brain. The DMTL record label sponsored the song alongside the team Vizion Army, the executive crew to the Vizion Squad. You can access the song here.
According to Vizion, Number 1 is very different from his other songs because he has improved on his career as far as the lyrics, story line and artistic style are concerned. He hopes that Number 1 will put him back on the music scene as a talented artiste.
Vizion hopes to launch his global music career in the next few years. The hip-life, hip-hop, and afro dance hall musician sees the Ghana music industry as a growing art scene, but believes that there is the need for amendments to re-structure the industry for further growth and improvement.
Vizion brands himself as an accessible artiste and therefore encourages his fans to reach out to him to talk about his work and get to know him better. He can be reached on 0248366048 via phone calls, text messages or WhatsApp messages.
