Miss Bakari is the type of girl one can easily refer to as a fighter. She identifies what she wants and goes for it.
It therefore came as no surprise when she was nominated for the just ended Savannah Art and Fashion awards in the best female model category which she won.
She has awed lots with her passion for what she does and her charm when she takes up the runway. Born into a family of 8, miss Bakari didn’t find it easy with her modeling career as many do not see modeling as an important venture especially in this part of the country.
From Yapei in the Northern Region, Winifred is a student of Accra Technical University reading Fashion design and textiles. Even though she doesn’t plan on doing away with fashion designing, modeling will take a higher place in her life in the near future. Currently signed onto Rayaz modeling agency, Miss Bakari, a product of Notre Dame Girls High School hopes to make a difference in the modeling industry by being a good influence to other girls like her who will like to take up modeling as a career.
She was the 2016 northern region rep in the Miss Tourism pageant and also a runner up in the 2106 ATU Miss Akwaaba
She applauded Savannah Lifestyle for a good job on the award scheme because it will boost the fashion industry in the Northern Region by encouraging them to do more since their efforts are being appreciated.
