Karima Nibaradun is a professional teacher at Vieri Methodist primary school in the Upper West Region of Ghana . She has a bachelor’s degree in Basic Education and currently pursuing Masters of Education in Educational Administration and Management at the University of Education Winneba, Ghana.
She has six years progressing experience in teaching, specifically in rural communities.
She is also the country Director for Naledi Foundation Ghana, an extension of Naledi Foundation South Africa. The aim of the foundation is to expose pupils in rural schools to different careers and higher institutions available as well as to identify under-performing rural schools and find solutions to improve their academic performance while motivating the pupils and teachers to strive for success.
Through some of their programs, they also encourage parents to be more involved in their children’s education in order to have maximum participation from the students. We also reach out to schools with children with disabilities.
She is also a passionate volunteer who believes in equal educational opportunities for children. She is curious, adventurous and loves to try her hands on anything creative.
